EDUCATİON PROGRAM SERVİCES
ServicesOur greatest responsibility in early childhood education is to enable our children to act upon their creative and free thoughts, beyond our own mental and societal patterns, and to enhance their existing talents.
SCAMPER Method
One of the most important goals of early childhood education is to encourage and support children's creative and free thinking. As each child is a unique individual, they possess different thoughts. The crucial point is to allow children to express their diverse thoughts in various ways and bring their original ideas to life within their imaginative worlds. Children can only produce unique creations by thinking differently, imagining, and expressing their emotions in various ways.
To help our children enhance their creativity and maintain important qualities such as using their imagination, creative and free thinking, and expressing their emotions in appropriate ways, we employ the S.C.A.M.P.E.R. method.
S.C.A.M.P.E.R. is an easy-to-implement and enjoyable brainstorming method used to foster creative thinking. It provides children with the opportunity to create original products by thinking differently, imagining, and utilizing their instincts. S.C.A.M.P.E.R. allows us to go beyond our mental patterns, encouraging children to change or combine their thoughts, thereby fostering creative thinking.
S.C.A.M.P.E.R. can be implemented in a fun way at every level, starting from early childhood education. This method involves a series of thinking directed towards a single object. A single object is chosen, and through brainstorming, it can be modified and enhanced. Questions are asked to children to prompt them to think in ways they may not be familiar with. These questions serve as a driving force to develop different thinking skills.
It encourages children to develop their thoughts and explore. It creates opportunities for them to practice according to their needs to enhance their creativity and develop their own perspectives. Additionally, it teaches flexible thinking and breaking patterns. The more children engage in activities related to creativity, the more their ability to think differently develops.
Multiple Intelligence Program
The purpose of the Multiple Intelligence Program is to consider what individuals are capable of doing rather than focusing solely on what they can do. Intelligence involves problem-solving capacity and shaping valuable cultural products. It is recognized that not only those who excel in mathematics and language but also those who excel in music, sports, dance, communication, nature, and art are intelligent. Multiple Intelligence is perceived as an instructional process that enhances students' learning in every field of science.
The realization of human potential to its highest limits can only be achieved through early opportunities. The purpose of using areas of Multiple Intelligence education such as visual, physical, natural, and musical intelligence in classrooms is to maximize students' abilities in these areas and to make their education and learning environments enjoyable. Consequently, this increases learning opportunities.
In educational institutions where the Multiple Intelligence theory is applied, nearly every space can be used as a learning area. Hallways, school gardens, dining halls, and more can serve as learning environments. "With the implementation of the Multiple Intelligence theory, the school extends beyond its walls into different worlds."
Our greatest responsibility in early childhood education is to enable our children to act upon their creative and free thoughts, beyond our own mental and societal patterns, and to enhance their existing talents. In this way, we can help our children preserve and develop their valuable treasures even when they become adults.
At Filiz Child House, we create an environment conducive to enhancing children's creativity and developing their divergent thinking skills. Through the SCAMPER Method and Multiple Intelligence Program, we provide opportunities for children to think multidimensionally and come up with creative solutions regardless of the subject matter, allowing them to develop their talents.
